Official Places to Start

The local jail source for a recent Delta County arrest is the sheriff's detention division. Research did not locate an official public online Delta County jail roster, so phone, in-person, court, and records-request channels matter more here than a web roster search.

Delta County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff: Mark Taylor
Address: 555 Palmer Street, Delta, CO 81416
Main phone: 970-874-2000
Detention/jail phone: 970-874-2021
Sheriff page: https://www.deltacountyco.gov/138/Sheriff
Detention page: https://www.deltacountyco.gov/62/Detention
Records Management: https://www.deltacountyco.gov/195/Records-Management

For current local custody, call the detention number and be ready with the person's full legal name, date of birth if known, arrest date or approximate time, arresting agency, and any case or warrant number. For copies of releasable reports or jail-related records, use Records Management rather than treating the jail phone as a document counter.

Records Fees and Limits

The Records Management page says traffic-accident reports are available to the public after 10 working days. Case reports are limited to eligible categories such as involved persons, the district attorney, law enforcement, insurance, and victims. Published fees include $8 for the first 10 pages, $0.25 for each additional page, $35 for the first two hours of body-camera footage and $35 for each additional hour, and $10 per fingerprint card.
